Help the animals all year long

Background

In response to the OMHS rescue of more than 100 cats from a house in 2013, a supporter, Andrew Shannon, donned cat ears and a tail and ran in the Oakville Half Marathon to raise funds for the cats at OMHS. Last year, $20,000 was raised to help care for and find homes for the animals at the shelter.

By joining Team OMHS and raising funds for the animals, every step will be a step to help protect, care for, and find loving homes for the most vulnerable animals in our community.

We do not receive funds from the government to care for or find homes for the animals. With over 5,000 animals needing our help every year, your support makes a world of difference.
