Responding to Animal Welfare Calls (OSPCA)
Most animal welfare cases are the result of an animal being in “distress.”
Definition of An Animal In Distress: “Distress” is and animal “in the state of being in need of proper care, water, food or shelter or being injured, sick or in pain or suffering or being abused or subject to undue or unnecessary hardship, privation or neglect.”
Reporting – How to Report an Animal in Distress
If you encounter an animal in distress contact the Oakville & Milton Humane Society immediately.
