Kids and Critters Summer Day Camp
We are thrilled to be able to offer 8 whole weeks of summer camp for children ages 6-12 years old. Each week of the summer camp has a different animal-based focus and will be directed at a different age group, with groupings of 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds.
Throughout the camp week, campers will experience a lot of opportunities to interact with shelter animals, play games, get crafty and meet a variety of wonderful guest speakers. Your children won’t want to miss all the fun, so make sure to sign them up as soon as registration becomes available. Click here for an information brochure.
Where is the program located? The camp is held at the Oakville & Milton Humane Society. The address is 445 Cornwall Road, in Oakville.
How much is the camp? The fee for the camp is $275 for one week.
What if my child is above or below the age requirement? Campers must be between 6-12 years old, and attend the camp week designated for their age group. There is no flexibility.
Can I register my child for multiple weeks of camp? Yes. Each camp week will have a different theme; however it is important to note that some activities will overlap week to week.
What is the camp size? Each camp is small with a maximum of 12 campers. There will be two Leaders in Training and two Camp Leaders.
Is there a waiting list for the camp? Unfortunately we do not have a waiting list for our next session of our Kids and Critters Summer Camp; this program is filled on a first-come first-served basis. However, if registration is available and the camp does become full prior to you registering your child, we can place you on a waiting list for a cancellation.
Do you provide before and after care? We have extended camp hours to accommodate early drop-off and late pick-up. Information regarding camp hours is available on the camp registration forms.
How do I register my child? Registration forms are available here – you can sign up online, in person, or by mail. If you have any questions, or if you would like more information about the camps, please contact Monica Hutchison at firstname.lastname@example.org or 905-845-1551 ext. 118
