P.A. Day Programs
Does your child have a day off of school with nothing to do? What better way to spend the day than having fun and learning about animals! The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is dedicated to educating the community about responsible pet ownership and general animal knowledge. Professional Activity Full and Half Day programs are designed to educate school-aged children between the ages of 6 to 8, on various animal-related issues.
What does the program do? The education team uses innovative games, crafts and animal interaction to help children gain a sense of understanding & empathy for all types of animals. The programs also have children walking away with the skills needed to stay safe around all animals both wild and domestic. These programs are great for animal lovers of all kinds!
When is the program offered? These programs will be offered throughout the 2016 – 2017 school year, click here for a listing of specific dates.
