Corporate Volunteering
Corporate volunteering at OMHS offers engaging teambuilding activities to support the Pet Food Bank which has become a crucial resource providing over 300,000 pet meals since its inception in 2021. Your team will work together to prepare pet food for distribution to vulnerable pets and families facing food insecurity in our community. The day will culminate in a tour of OMHS facilities, and your employees will leave knowing they helped keep pets at home with the families who love them
The OMHS Team Experience is a rewarding way to meet your company’s employee engagement goals, execute your CSR initiatives and provide a unique team building experience with profound impact for vulnerable pets
To learn more, please complete the form below and we will be back to you shortly to discuss your teambuilding goals.

- Packaging food for the Pet Food Bank
- Making pet enrichment toys
- Tour of OMHS facility
- Photo op to show the great work you have completed

When is corporate volunteering available?
Corporate volunteering experiences take place on Wednesdays or Fridays betweek 10:00 am – 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
How many team members can participate?
From October to April, we can comfortably accommodate up to 10 team members indoors.
From May to September, we can accommodate up to 15 team members outdoors under cover with an indoor site contingency. If you have a large group or multiple groups, we can develop a program over several days and the groups can compete for a prize for the greatest impact!
Will we get to interact with the animals?
Your group will have the opportunity to view and learn about our adoptable animals during the facility tour. If your group is volunteering outdoors, you will also see our dog handlers as they work on training. Because our dogs are in training, we kindly ask that volunteers observe them with their handlers.
Is there a cost to participate?
OMHS relies entirely on donations to provide our services, and your organization’s donation will help us care for homeless animals and continue delivering the vital Pet Food Bank program.
We suggest that your organization consider a donation to help us cover the direct costs associated with organizing a team experience such as staff time and supplies, typically a minimum of $500.
