On June 12, the Oakville & Milton Humane Society welcomed back our spay/neuter clinic, generously funded by Virox Technologies. This marked our third such clinic and brought the total number of cats and kittens spayed or neutered through this program to 47.
At last week’s clinic, 11 cats and kittens received spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, a veterinary check-up, and a microchip. This clinic is an extension of the OMHS Pet Food Bank program, providing vital care to families who may not otherwise be able to access these services.
A big thank you to Andrew Needham of Oakville Public Library, who assisted families in registration, and to David Spicer, a dedicated OMHS volunteer who transported the cats to and from the clinic.
And of course, we couldn’t do this without the generosity of Virox Technologies and the families who brought their pets in for care.
