Jiminy Cricket came to us from another organization and he is now looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and understood.
Jiminy Cricket is a gentle soul with a quiet spirit. He may be shy at first, but don't let his cautious nature fool you - he's curious, and his tiny heart is full of hope. He's slowly learning that people can be kind, and while he may not hop right into your lap, he's starting to respond to treats and soft voices.
With a little patience and a lot of love, Jiminy Cricket is ready to find his own "wish upon a star" moment. He's seeking a quiet, adult-only home where he can blossom at his own pace, without loud noises or sudden surprises.
Jiminy Cricket is currently taking a medication called gabapentin to help him feel safe and calm as he continues to build confidence around people. Any changes to this should be made in consultation with a vet.
He's lived around other cats before and may do well with a calm feline companion - but mostly, he needs humans who will go slow, speak gently, and celebrate small victories.
