Hera was transferred into our care from another organization and is ready to find her forever home!

This demure little feline can be quite shy and is still learning what people and affection are all about! In typical cat fashion, she is curious and has shown those who are close to her the kindness of some careful sniffs and slow blinks.

The way to Hera's heart is food! Hera understands that people usually have the tastiest treats and will gingerly approach you to see what goodies you may have to offer. Her sweet face and honey eyes work in her favour greatly for acquiring a few extra snacks!

As a shadow cat, Hera feels the most comfortable when she can observe and follow you around at her own pace, without the pressure of having to be the center of attention. She is looking for her purrfect people that will allow her as much time as she needs to settle in and will accept her for the shy lady she is. Her choosing to approach you or sitting a little closer is a great big achievement!
