*Brie is a palliative adoption. She is currently stable and comfortable, but due to the complexity of her medical history, she is being made available as a palliative adoption. Our goal is to get Brie into a loving home as soon as possible.*

HOW DID BRIE GET HERE?
Brie was transferred to OMHS from another organization. She is now ready to find her forever home!
PERSONALITY:
- While shy at first, she is very affectionate and loves attention - chin scratches especially!
- Goofy and playful
- Loves squeaky toys
- Loves any soft toys
- Smart!
- Food motivated
- Good with other dogs (just needs her own space to eat)
- Likes slow walks
- Working on house training!
WHAT TYPE OF HOME IS BRIE LOOKING FOR?
- A home with adults or older teens
- Has owned a dog before or has an understanding of fearful/nervous dogs
Brie is a sweet dog with several ongoing health issues that require some monitoring and daily medication. She has a liver and gallbladder condition that is managed with a medication called Ursodiol, a history of immune-mediated arthritis and joint issues, and she's prone to urinary and digestive concerns that are supported with a special diet called Royal Canin GI low fat. Any changes to her diet and medication should only be made in consultation with a vet.
