Christine Nielsen

Christine is the Chief Executive Officer for the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science and a certified association executive.  As well, she is a certified medical laboratory technologist.  Christine holds an undergraduate degree in Health Administration from Ryerson University and has completed her MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.

Volunteering is a priority for Christine, having served for professional associations and two alumni association boards, for over two decades.  Christine is excited to share her experience and expertise in strategic planning, governance, volunteer development, public speaking, advocacy and government relations with the OMHS.  She is also the proud mom to two senior dogs – a Chihuahua and a Shih Tzu. She is custodian to a former shadow cat, a senior named Cleo, who has a whole home to herself in the Kawartha Lakes.
