Mission Pawsible: All Paws On Deck

Walking Challenge

From May 31 to June 12 we don’t want to let sleeping dogs lie, we want to see you and them out walking!  If you don’t have a dog, you can still pawticipate – with you cat, bird, partner, friend or solo.  You can make a difference in an animal’s life by accepting the Mission Pawsible Walking Challenge.

Count your steps and make them count!

Each step you take, each dollar you raise, gives an animal a second chance at getting healthy and finding their forever home.  Just like Roger. Roger was found after his front paw had been crushed in a heavy metal trap which, sadly, are still legal in Canada. In a desperate attempt to escape, he tried to chew and twist off his trapped limb.  Roger’s veterinarians estimated he suffered for nearly two weeks before he was rescued.  And that is just part of his heart-breaking story.

Although Roger’s recovery will take time, he is now safely in the care of the OMHS, being showered with love.  His recovery is possible because of passionate animal advocates like you.  Join the Mission Pawsible Walking Challenge to give Roger, and others like him to come, a a second chance for a better life.
